OneHop for desktop
Know who you're close to, without anyone reading your conversations.
We don't read your conversations. OneHop only sees the touchpoints: who you were in touch with, when, how often, and who reached out. That's all it takes to show who you're close to and who you've drifted from.

- We don't read your conversations. The app removes what was said, photos, voice notes and files on your computer before anything is sent, and our servers refuse any upload that contains them.
- Only the touchpoints. Who you were in touch with, when, how often, and who reached out first. That's what relationship strength is built from.
- Your computer, your choice. You switch on each app yourself, on your own computer. Pause it, switch a source off, or delete what it brought in, any time.

Questions
What does it do?
It keeps your relationships current without you importing anything again. Each time you're in touch with someone in a messaging app you've switched on, OneHop notes that it happened, when, and who reached out, so relationship strength and "who you've gone quiet on" stay accurate. It never reads the conversation itself.
Do you read my conversations?
No. OneHop sees touchpoints, not conversations: who you were in touch with, when, how often, and who sent each message. Never what was said, never photos, files or voice notes. The app removes that on your computer before anything is sent, and our servers refuse any upload that contains it. Read OneHop for desktop in the Privacy Policy.
Which messaging apps can I use?
You choose inside the app, one at a time, on your own computer. For example: Messages on a Mac (with your permission in System Settings), or a WhatsApp account you link by scanning a code with your phone. Each one explains what it involves before you switch it on, and you can leave any of them off.
Does my computer need to be on?
Only to stay current. While your computer is awake, OneHop syncs in the background. When it sleeps or is off, nothing is lost: next time it wakes, OneHop catches up on its own. Some sources sign out a linked computer that hasn't been used for a few weeks; the app tells you if that happens.
Does it message anyone for me?
No. OneHop for desktop never sends, posts, replies or reacts on any service. It only keeps track of who and when.
How do I stop it?
Pause or quit it from the menu bar (or system tray), switch off a single source in the app, or remove the computer in Settings → Sources on the website. Imported history stays in your account until you delete it there, which takes one click.
Is it free?
Yes, it's included with your OneHop account.
